A number of approaches can be adopted to increase life expectancy in sub-Saharan African countries. These may include such things as poverty reduction, crime reduction, disease prevention, lifestyle changes among other things. At Healthneutron we have chosen disease prevention as a way to deal with the issue. We are therefore using the below approach to help improve life expectancy.

Research
Research is at the core of what we do. With research we are able to add new knowledge or make use of existing one in a way that will help us to make impact in our focus areas. We will also use research to know how our work is impacting our bottom line of increasing life expectancy. We will also want to use research to have solutions to existing and new disease conditions. Such knowledge will be used as a guide to increase life expectancy in developing countries.
Training
We believe awareness can get the masses informed about lifestyle choices and affect their decisions. We therefore spend a lot of time training via our social media channels, in-person or virtually. We also train via SMS and email tips. We are exploring ways of providing similar tips via IVR platforms.

Lab Screening
We believe that laboratory screening can tell your inside story. It is therefore at the core of our approach. Without the screenings, we won’t be able to know what is happening to you. We therefore take time with our samples and partner with the best in the industry to come out with accurate results. We do this conveniently by coming to your place of comfort.
Consultation
We believe strongly that getting screened without getting a medical practitioner to explain in detail the report to you is just half of the work done. We therefore include consultation in all our laboratory screenings via our mobile apps. This provides convenience. There are a few of our customers that prefers in-person consultation (Doctor-on-call service)
